Dale Ellis 3 Pointer Basketballer's Shootout!

Competitors will be timed at 1 minute, to shoot in the 5 designated spots, where the basketball racks are placed. There will be 5 balls on each rack, that will total 25 balls. Each unmarked ball will total 1 point. The designated 2 point ball will be a different color, from the original basketball color. The top 7 scores of the competitors, will compete for the best 3 point shooter in their age bracket. The top score of the 7 will get a bye, in the first round of the final phase of the tournament. After the first elimination, which will leave a total of 4 players, the 4 remaining will compete for the best 3 competitors in their competition division.

Male and Female Divisions will be available. Everyone is Welcome!

Middle School Division

The Youth Division is defined by contestants who attend middle school at the time of the competition.Therefore, all players currently attending Middle School should register for the bracket that is labeled "Middle School".

Sporting Gear For Event

Any type of sporting gear that the competitors feel comfortable in, while shooting basketball. Shorts, sweatpants, and jersey are preferred. No attire should have any offensive graphics, or obscene language on them.

Registration

Complete the entry form and submit it. Go to registration page and make full payment. Full payment must be received and required sign-up form must be submitted by the registration deadline in order for your entire registration process to be complete. Sign-Up forms are accepted online. If you prefer to call in your payment, call (904) 469-4426, with all of your registration information, Debit,Credit Card, Cash App or Zelle information. We will also have an event sign up date, at a location to be announced.

Registration Deadline

The Registration Deadline for the event is June 25th, 2026, before 5:00pm, the Thursday before the event. The event will begin at 2:00 p.m. (EST.) Once the deadline has passed it is very difficult for the administration department to add additional competitors, due to the scheduling process. Anyone that missed the deadline and still wishes to register for the event, their requests will be evaluated to ensure that adding a late competitor does not cause a time constraint, or negative impact on the individuals that registered on time.
